Bohrium Applications

Currently, the heaviest chemical elements, chemically characterized are Seaborgium, Bohrium and Hassium. Some studies are carried out towards the research of the chemical properties of the Ununbium (element 112). From one hand the properties of these elements are correspond to their positions in groups 6, 7 and 8 of the periodic table, but from the other hand the relativistic effects on the electronic structure of these elements have significant impact on their chemical properties. Such studies allow us not only research the chemical properties of the heaviest chemical elements, but also allow us to investigate relativistic effects in large electronic structures.
